Defensive Concepts North Carolina will be teaching our 1 day Basic Carbine course on 17 July 2010 in Carthage, NC. Here is a brief run down about the course:
Basic Carbine
The Basic Carbine course is designed to provide each student with the core skills needed to properly use the carbine in a safe and effective manner in defensive situations. The course curriculum covers the following topics: marksmanship fundamentals (sight alignment, sight picture, trigger manipulation, zeroing of sights), carbine manipulation (loading, unloading, malfunction clearance), and extensive shooting drills at various distances using several shooting positions. This is a one day class.
The course tuition is $150 plus $25 range fee.
Students will need:
1 semi-auto carbine (AR15, AK, Mini-14, etc) with a Minimum of 3 Magazines (.22LR and pistol caliber carbines are acceptable)
A method of carrying 2 magazines on the firing line
500 Rounds of Ammunition
Pen/Pencil and Paper
Ear and Eye Protection
Hand cleaner might be a good thing too

Remember the CSF discount that is currently in effect. When you complete our online registration, mention that you are a CSF member and list your screen name in order to receive a 10% discount.
