Luke, I'm I'm in total agreement. I've said it before and I'll say it again. IT'S THE BUYER!

Not knocking the seller on here or any other site but the buyer sets the market, period. If people would stop paying elevated prices, the elevated prices WILL come down. It's just that simple. :D

Just look at the forsale area on this site. Much of that stuff was bought at walmart posted here for 3 times what they paid. There are plenty of people that don't have anything better to do than stand in line at Gander Mountain an hour before the open or hang out at Walmart while they unload the truck. It's happening all over America. It's no conspiracy.

And I'm tired of hearing this crap about material shortage. I know for a fact that plumbing parts manufacturers, HVAC manufacturers, auto makers are not in short supply of copper, brass, steel etc. It's the firearms consumer that's buying up all the ammo that creates an ammo shortage, plain and simple. I'm not naive enough to believe it's a material shortage, that statement is male bovine fecal matter.

Is DHS hoarding all the .22LR too? It has been virtually impossible to find in recent months (gotten better here over the last few weeks) so perhaps that part of the "order" isn't public knowledge yet.
I blame that on hoarders and flippers. Here in Raleighwood, my local Walmart for instance has nothing on the shelves. People buying it up simply to make a dollar or 100.

GunBroker is awash in ammo too. There is no real shortage, its a shortage of reasonably priced ammo.
Yep, the only "shortage" is people who are willing to pay a "reasonable" price for ammo, be it 22lr or 9mm. Our fellow gun owners (or maybe not, just some asshat looking to make a profit) are doing it to each other.
