We had those when I was a kid. They were green, and called "Gumby"

Bad Elf !!

 

Ours name is Barry for some reason (kid named him that at like 2 years old). We've had some fun with him. Wish I had a picture but my wife has this geisha doll her sister sent her from japan. We had Barry smuggled up to her once. Had him lying in the wine rack pretending he was a bottle of wine.
