I have no interest in being "connected". I don't use Facebook. I don't want to "reconnect" with people from days gone by.

If I am a friend of yore then you have stayed connected with me over the phone and through personal visits over the years. And vice versa.

If you are a family member I give a crap about I will call or text you every now and then to check in and find Out how you're doing. I don't need to see the lyrics to your favorite song or see a funny cat picture or respond to a post or water your garden or feed your pigs or any other such nonsense.

This site is the only site I belong to and the only one I interact with people on. And nobody on here is a friend of mine simply because I know what you posted. We have met and talked.

Just my opinion. Don't care if you like it or agree. Everyone has to live their own life. This is how I choose to live mine
