It's been this price for a week or two now. If you order a case, the shipping is free. Anyone in Raleigh want to share a case with me? I probably only want 300 rounds, but could be convinced to take 500 if someone wanted the other half.

What do you want to know about it as it relates to suppressors? They don't change its performance.

Also, 147gr is my preferred weight for 9mm.

I'd take a good hard look at the reviews of the supplier before purchasing. I don't have any direct experience with them myself, positive or negative, but reading what some others have written was.... enlightening.

I noticed that it appears Target Sports (the vendor referenced above) raised ammo prices today across the board (not only on the above-referenced HST 9mm 147 but on other FMJ ammo they had advertised in e-mail that I was looking to order).

The HST 9mm 147s are now $30 per box (50% price increase).

I have to posit this is in response to the shootings in FL.

I've tested the 124, 124+p, and 147 HST's in 9mm 3" barrel.
All preformed excellent and as they are supposed to. Shot through clothing, into pork ribs, hitting bone and retaining good weight, and through 3-4 jugs of water. Expansion of the 124 gr was slightly more, but like splitting hairs. It also penetrated into 1 more jug. The 124 +p chronod around 50fps more than the regular 124, just not sure if it is worth the extra recoil and noise. The velocity was a little more sporadic with the +p.

124 grain hst or 124 grain + p in a larger pistol is my choice. Can't go wrong with 147gr HST, but the 124 has better numbers and performance, even if it's just ever so slightly. Anything shot isn't going to know the difference. I'd buy 147 hst in a heartbeat at a deal, or if that's all I could get. The HST just preforms well in about any grain Federal has.

They ended their sale. I see no indication the ended it early. If they jacked up the price to $50-60, then I understand.

Out of the 30 or so companies that show up on my Wikiarms daily email digest, very few of the regulars dropped out of my specified pistol and 223 price range. Target Sports USA being prominent among them.
Yep, they can EAD for price gouging "ending a sale" or whatever you apologists want to call it.
All the big boxes including Cabelas, Academy, Gander et al are running Father's Day sales with free shipping on ammo so I'm sure they'll get brisk business at a great time in the slow months of summer.

One great thing about those daily email digests from Wikiarms, you can exclude certain companies. I excluded CTD and Sportsman's Guide a long time ago (CTD for their Sandy hook BS and SG for their stupid membership crap). Guess I get to add a few more now

Maybe sign up for Target Sports USA emails and you'll see they frequently rotate their sales, and just sent out a new email today with items on sale with good prices. This was literally just the end of their sale. Here is their email from June 7th. Notice it says "DEAL OF THE WEEK". When did the week end?

They're showing $24.99 now, with some free shipping options. Seems like a deal to me. Or at least very fair.

I'm seeing a lot of prices return to pre-Orlando levels. Guess there hasn't been that much of a blip in demand after all.

Thanks for posting it. I'll hopefully get some this time. Dragged my feet too long last time.
