Alright so here goes; I'm planning on building my first AR from the ground up. Im starting with a spikes stripped lower. What all do I need as far as parts to complete the lower? (LPK. buffer assembly, etc) Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks

+2 For Palmetto State Armory, real good quality stuff for great prices.

prepare to wait and not have any support after the sale if you go psa..... do a simple search on psa and their HORRIBLE customer service and extended wait times for simple items..............
Hit or miss now... used to be excellent before the expansion. They did "fix" (by replacing the upper completely) my friend's carbine under their lifetime warranty though, and were fairly quick about it.

OP, here's some EXCELLENT information

your experience may vary, but "I" have received excellent customer support from them. anything from a small parts purchase to a firearm.

have also seen them go 'above and beyond' in posted instances.

I have received a prompt email reply and have not had a telephone call to 'not' be answered.... but I "AM' waiting for a troy amb safety to return to stock.....:-B thanks for the reminder.

My friend was very well taken care of by them. However the upper that they built and sent the first time was not even close to functional. I've experienced some slow shipping from them since the expansion, but had no other problems. I guess "your results will vary". Hope they get over their growing pains and come back to the land of "mostly good things" said about them like they were before.

Everybody puts out a lemon every once in a while, even the large manufacturers like Colt, RRA, etc.

I ordered 4 classic stock kits from PSA on June 24th. Received one on July 9th, just got the other three yesterday, and only then because I was doing some bitching. Me personally, I think they should stop having sales and free shipping until they can get caught up. At least down to the 5 day ship time they claim on their website. I have also seen a lot of people complain about getting the wrong amounts of stuff they ordered, or wrong parts completely.
