I have a question based on personal experience. I shoot the compact Glocks much better than I shoot the full size Glocks. For instance, I shoot the G23 Gen 3 and Gen 4 better than the G22 Gen 3 or G35 Gen 3. Just curious if other shooters have this same issue.

I shoot my 19 better than my 22, and it's not because its 9mm vs. .40. shot a friends 26 and I was all over the place, but I guess its was just because it was my first time on a sub-compact glock and I was used to my 3.5 triggers.

I shoot my 26 best of all. I also find the Gen 3 22 works better for me than the Gen 3 19 or 23. I bought a Gen 2 23 because I did not like the feel of the finger grooves on the Gen 3 23. I bought the Gen 4 19, traded it shortly after buying it because of the finger grooves......I guess I'll just stick with the 26 as my favorite overall.

could have something to do with the distance between the sights on the shorter pistols. i shoot my subcompact XD more accurately than my service model. think my eyes like the shorter sight picture.

For me it seems to be how the gun fits my hand, full size guns usually have some grip sticking past the bottom. But a glock 30 or XD45 compact fits my hand almost perfectly, not too short or too long and so my grip is almost guaranteed to be the same each time.

I shot my XD45 tactical pretty well too but I suspect since my hands aren't huge I don't replicate the same grip on the gun each time.

1911s also fit my hand pretty well and it's easier for me to make sure my grip is the same each time.
