I bought an extended mag today for my glock 19 just to use for fun and ease at the range, but I heard a little rattling inside when I got home. Took it apart and the inner plate that touches the spring is chipped. (the part you press down through the hole in the bottom) Anybody know where I can get a new one? or what its name is? Spring guide? I tried searching, but couldn't come up with anything.

LOL! I thought for a second when I saw this thread title, that you found a computer type chip inside. I thought this was going to be a conspiracy theory post.
I thought the same thing

Just leave it alone, as long as most of the spring is still pressing down and the button still locks in the hole, it is serving its purpose.
This... as long as the plate is still locking into the hole in the baseplate to prevent it from moving it is doing its job. It isn't likely even worth bothering.

You can probably add one for a buck to an order from a number of places in the future; personally I sure wouldn't pay shipping just for that one small part especially if it is functional as is.

My tin foil hat was on too...

But sounds like an awesome excuse to buy some new stuff..."Gee honey, I needed the part, but to make shipping worth it I went ahead and ordered these other items! See how sound of a financial decision that was!"
