I have a compound but looking to go traditional. Any ideas of which bow(s) would be best and equip needed? TIA

Start lighter and with low investment.
I shot my first deer with a Ben Pearson Javalina much like this one:

There is a plethora of bows out there for little money.
I've got a couple of nice old recurves but they are both 50#.
A Shakespeare Seneca and an Indian Deerslayer.
You will absolutely never regret the 'step back in time'.
    Good luck, enjoy yourself.

Do you have a pic of it and what are you asking for it?

50 pounds at 28" draw. $250 and might have a couple arrows that will shoot out of it.

    Nice bow!
My Javelina was a 66" also.
