Hi guys. I'm looking for a good place to shoot 7.62x39 (bi-metal) ammo. None of the ranges in the Charlotte area allow (bi-metal) ammo. I can't afford brass cased 7.62x39. My friend has a place in Indian Trail out in the country, but the neighbors complained too much. The country is always the best place to shoot as far as being able to shoot whatever you want (cans, pumpkins, etc.).

Do any of you guys know of any good spots around Charlotte?

You'll have to drive a bit - there's nothing public and close to Charlotte.

I still have yet to fire more than the two rounds of test through my SKS so I'd love to find one too. I've been trying to weasel a way into the FOP range in Troutman.
