I'm not this time. I have a fear of large herds of hungry sheep. Too bad because I really enjoyed that show in the past. I hope it's better for everyone than I expect to be. Remember to be able to take cover when nearing the check in table.
Unless the roads are terrible will be there mid morning. Have a Disaster Relief breakfast mtg early Sat. Tall real skinny white guy w/hair to match wearing a tan leather Norwegian guide hat (flat beenie thingy-lol) and tan leather coat.
Right. Dixie Gun Shows only do Charlotte and Raleigh. Thay have nothing to do with the Greensboro show. I just heard this regarding the Dixie shows and wondered if anyone else had. If this is true, I believe that it would eventually put the Dixie shows under.
I just checked the Dixie website and the only thig different was that they posted in a notice that "no loaded firearms would be allowed in the show." I may have been informed of something that's not true. Sorry.
it is true they suspended private 'bring ins' on Sunday 20 January after the ND on 19 January... .but future plans AFAIK have not been announced....
Now of course in the Raleigh Venue, they may have no choice as it would be the State Owned Fairgrounds that would have ultimate control... Metrolina may be an entirely different animal.
now back on the subject...
Roads seem bad this afternoon and temps are NOT conductive to melting.. so if you do attend...watch OuT....
Looking for a Bell and Carlson A2 tactical medalist stock for my Remington 700 SA. If anyone there sees one there, color not really important, new or used, & could let me know via pm that would be awesome.
Went earlier today, around 11 am, there were no long lines, and once inside I found it to be no more crowded than previous shows. Found, and bought, what I was looking for, plus saw lots of ammo and black rifles.
