So I have a few normal gun stores/pawn shops I visit on a weekly or biweekly schedule. I find out that if you check them often you tend to find the best deals. There are a couple that I don't visit as often as others just because they tend to run higher or I just don't like their limited selection. I went into one of the second type of stores today to kill some time. After about 10 minutes one of the guys dragged his attention away from his texting and asked if I wanted to look at something. I asked if he had any air weights in 38 or 357. He said they got one used in yesterday and that he could show it to me but if I wanted it I would have to wait 7days for it to be available to be sold. I asked to look at it, he said ok no problem and went to the back. As I waited and waited and waited for about 20 minutes. I started to walk around and got into a position where I could look through the glass on the door leading to the back. So I saw him standing in the back texting with one hand and holding the pistol with the other. He finally came up front and handed it to me. I told him that this was a good looking revolver but it wasn't an air weight, it was a model 36. He could have cared less and I handed it back to him and asked if the did have an airweight and he said that if that wasn't it the he didn't know.... And then just walked away to keep texting. My blood pressure went through the roof. Now I know that there will be at least one person who will say, if you want better customer service own your own store, or just don't go back. But this is mainly just a rant on poor customer service, and to get it off my chest.
