A couple hours ago my Fiance and I ran some errands, and she had to swing past the ATM. She was driving, and pulled up to the front of the bank instead of going to the drive-up ATM.

Where we were parked, I could see the drive-up ATM, all of the drive-thru lanes (bank was closed), my fiance, and the walk up ATM.

She gets out, and walks about 20' up to the ATM. While she's up there, a car pulls through past the drive-up ATM, and is sitting about 20' on the other side of my fiance at the ATM. There appeared to be two males sitting in the car, and they did not use the drive-up ATM, just pulled through and sat there.
I unbuckled my seatbelt, and began to open the car door, and as soon as the interior light came on in car, they drove off.

Not trying to be a smartass, but have you talked with your fiance about situational awareness? Had she been alone, things may have turned out quite differently.

She wouldn't have been at the ATM after dark without me. Good call though.

Would you have drawn if two strange males rapidly approached your wife, or your car, while your wife was sitting in the car?

I don't want to get into the what-ifs of the scenario, but if I felt she or I were in danger I would do what I needed to do. Thats why we carry, right?

Fender, does your wife carry? And I probably would've tried to get the plate # and thought about calling local PD, just to say "Hey, this car was being suspicious...". Could be nothing, could help them figure out who committed the rape and robbery that happened at that ATM 20 minutes later.

She does not carry. She's never fired a gun, and isn't interested in doing so.

So, did you have a discussion about this situation? Did she even see the other car?

When I use a drive up, I try to be sure I'm close enough to block access, so that it's difficult for some one to get between the car and the ATM. Meanwhile, I'm constantly scanning for walk ups.

Yeah, she saw them.
