Hello from New Bern NC!

    Whats up peeps. I saw this website and decided to join it recently. I reside in New Bern NC but I am currently a contractor in Afghanistan working with the Army. Was a US Marine for 12 years as well. I currently own the following.

    LWRC M6.8-A2 rifle 6.8mm SPC
    UTAS-15 Shotgun
    Sig P250 9mm for CCW

    Soon getting a Sig P320! Believe it or not I never really was into weapons. As a Marine I used them, carried them etc. All my gun purchases have been the last year and a half. Anyhow look forward to being a member of this site!

    Sweet! Things are well. Stuff is slowly gearing down over here. Still hot but the temperatures should go down in the coming weeks. Summer was terrible.

    So the seasons there sound similar to the seasons here. Should be cooling down here in a few more weeks too. But I guess you know that! What are the daily temps there? It's been a hot summer here too.. high 80's to low 90's. I'm guessing at least 10d hotter there.

    How do you like that shotgun? Be careful with it... a guy here in the US just shot his hand off with a Keltec recently. The foregrip pulled off and allowed his hand to move in front of the muzzle right when he pulled the trigger. Guess he was trying to fire it fast. Yours doesn't take a foregrip though, does it?

    You got the temps about right and throw in some humidity for being up Northern area.

    I love the UTAS. A buddy and I bought them earlier in the year. Unfortunately no it does not have rails on the bottom just on the top.

    Gen1 and 2 sucked on it but Gen 3 they fixed everything. Its my zombie killer. When I get home I will take pictures of stuff and post it.
    Alot of negative reviews on it but I have yet to have a issue. I think most of the issues involving a UTAS comes from short stroking it.
