Im in the market for a new handgun, but as always I have to pick from my want list instead of just buying them all. Lol
Im looking at:
1: GSG 1911-22 $350
Pro: Cheap to shoot, 1911, good trigger, inexpensive
Con: Not a 45, already have 4 22 pistols
2: RIA 1911 45 ACP Compact $475
Pro: Good trigger, 1911, 45
Con: HEAVY, compared to Glock
3: Glock 19 $475
4: Glock 30 $475
Pro: Fairly light, Higher capacity
Con: Lone wolf barrel = additional cost
Id really like to have a 45 and I shoot 1911s better than anything else Ive shot. I do like the lightweight of the Glock 30/19 if I chose to carry any of 2-4 so they have that advantage. If I were to buy either glock I would have to spend an additional $90 on a lone wolf barrel to shoot cast out of. Im looking for a range gun but I could carry if I want. Im in no need of another carry gun but it woulnt hurt as a secondary purpose. GSG would be out for this purpose but again, not super important.
I will elaborate later, on the cell now.
Which would you pick and why? If not one of the above, what and why?
