Help Me Make Up My Mind (range update)

I am all set to buy a new cc pistol and I have it narrowed done to three all with their own unique pros and cons.

Glock 30s
Pro: Capacity, Least expensive, Reliable
Con: Not sure if there is a Gen 4 which I would prefer, Ugly

HK P2000sk 40S&W
Pro: Capacity, Reliable, Accurate, Proven performance
Con: Width, Pricey

Colt New Agent 45ACP
Pro: Very attractive, slimmest(I think), SAO
Con: Very Pricey, Possible reliability problems, Too attactive

Give me your input and suggestions.
Two options I have already ruled out are the Walther PPS, my brother has one and he has had to send it back twice and there customer service has been terrible, and the XDS, sorry Springfield fans I have shot it multiple times and I just don't like it.

Three words: Glock Nine Teen.
I tried a G30 and an officer 1911. Neither was reliable enough for EDC.

Ugly doesn't matter at all for a CC piece.
If you consider that all handgun rounds are inadequate and statistics don't mean much in every day life then 45, 40, 9mm etc. are basically equal.
Not equal in blah blah power blah blah but equal in the sense "I wouldn't wanna get shot with that"
So more shots, more reliable, less expensive, and who cares what it looks like will lead you to a Glock 9mm or something similar.

Guns are a very personal thing, but if I were looking for a carry gun that was also a good time at the range gun that I could ALSO use for the nightstand for my own reason I would go...(in no particular order) with one of these in 40 S&W or 9mm.
I think all are high value for the price, proven reliability, simple to take down and maintain, and easy to sell if you choose to do so with minimal loss of original value .

Glock 26,19,23,27
S&W M&P or Shield
Ruger SR9 or 40 or 9C or 40C
FNH FNS or FNX
Springfield XD or XDM

Or a nice revolver...

I do have to also agree with you on this. I have the M&P 9mm and I have had 0 issues with it out of the gate and beyond. It is very reliable.

Also money is a huge decision maker if you are tight.

M&P compact, glock 26, xd, kahr, all very good guns. It is indeed a personal thing. Rent as many as you can from the range, stores, borrow from friends before you purchase. JMHO.

I would prefer to stay with 40 or 45 as I have plenty of that ammo. I don't want to turn into a Zombie scavenging the countryside looking for reasonably priced 9mm. Initially wrote off the M&P's I might have to give then another look based on all the positive responses.
9mm is ridiculously hard to find anywhere. I have had bulk on order for Over 3 months and still not in yet.

I Like the M&P Shield 40.

Everyone has preferences and you end up finding something you just shoot better with consistently.

I've tried lots of stuff over the years from 1911's to an LCR. I always gravitate back to my g19 year round. I give up. Id like something narrower, but the grip works well for me as is and the capacity is awesome. I'd like something with a shorter grip, but getting a full grip inspires confidence. A g30s is damn near identical in size, but 9mm is cheaper so I can practice/train/plink more. That's what I shoot well with, so thats what i carry.

When talking about these guns I did mention the aesthetics more as just a general comment. I am aware I am not buying a fashion accessory. I currently own a Glock so I don't mind how it looks and as far as pretty guns go I had a Springfield EMP it was accurate, an excellent size, good looking, but I had too many reliability issues and was really heavy so it had to go.

Even though I just said looks weren't important I must admit I couldn't buy a High Point. We all have our limits.

I'll go off the board for XD9SC. however, CARRY WHAT YOU SHOOT BEST

The "best" gun is the one YOU like, not anyone else. It will be a compromise of:

1. Fit - It should fit in your hand like you were born with it there.
2. Reliability - It should go BANG about 99.8% of the time you pull the trigger.
3. Accuracy - In YOUR hand. It's how well YOU shoot it.
4. Concealability - It should be comfortable enough to wear and easy enough to conceal so you won't leave it laying on the dresser at home.
5. Cost - You don't want to scrimp on your "life protector" weapon, but you probably don't need a $1,000 Kimber, either.
6. Enjoyment - The caliber and gun should be fun to shoot. If it isn't, you won't practice with it like you should.

I appreciate everyone's input, but I am curious why there hasn't been much input on the guns I have listed. Anyone out there have have experience with any or all of the guns I have listed?
Sorry,

the only gun I have fired that is even remotely close to the three you listed in this thread is the Glock 21. Oh and I loved it very much, hardly any recoil, comfortable grip, smooth action, pleasure.
