Nah...the pre sell price on this stuff is around 15$ for a box of 20 in 9mm. No specs released but like someone else pointed out..looks like they painted the tip green and made a new box so they could charge more...

Man... I was hoping this was the PIE ammo (Propelled Incendiary Explosive) mentioned in Max Brooks' "World War Z"

I'll still buy a couple boxes though. Great marketing ploy!

From the web page:Disclaimer: Hornady® Zombie Max™ ammunition is NOT a toy (IT IS LIVE AMMUNITION), but is intended only to be used on…ZOMBIES, also known as the living dead, undead, etc. No human being, plant, animal, vegetable or mineral should ever be shot with Hornady® Zombie Max™ ammunition. Again, we repeat, Hornady® Zombie Max™ ammunition is for use on ZOMBIES ONLY, and that's not a nickname, phrase or cute way of referring to anybody, place or thing. When we say Zombies, we mean…ZOMBIES!

When I saw the ad, here's the first thing I thought about:

A person has to shoot someone in self-defense but the DA thinks the self-defense arguement is questionable so the shooter is indicted. In other words, it's a questionable shoot.

At the trial, the DA presents to the jury all of the evidence, including four boxes of "Zombie Killer" ammo that was seized from the shooters home under a search warrant.

Juries, especially those who have gun-haters onboard, are very impressionable and the presentation of the "Zombie Killer" ammo at the trial definitely makes an impression. Gasps are heard from a couple of the little old ladies in the jury box.

Just a thought on a worse-case scenario...........
