As everybody knows, AR prices have been dropping fast since the national push for an AWB failed. And there are some great deals out there - e.g., there's a M&P Sport in the BTS that I would buy right now if it was closer (hint hint).

But how much lower are things going to get? Is the summer going to be the bottom, or are prices going to continue to drift lower into the fall before picking up for holiday sales?

I think they will all go back to pre scare prices, but you will be able to buy used rifles cheap. People will start needing money to pay off those credit cards. Just give it a few more months. I am not joking about this, wait till the new video game systems come out. People will need money to buy them for their kids or themselves. Used rifles will be at an all time low. I expect people to sell them at prices that gun stores would pay them for the firearms used.....dirt cheap.
What would be instructive is looking at what happened after the rush when Obama first got into the WH. Did the secondary market dip below pre-Obama secondary market prices?

I didn't even know what an AR was back then (other than a machine gun that crazy ******** hunted deer with - hey, that's what the media told me when I was in NY), so I'll have to ask the guys who were into black rifles several years ago.
