A southern tradition (and my wife's favorite breakfast) my famous cheesy grits. Made with love and a little fear.

Made with love and a little fear.
As the saying goes..."I fear no man and one woman" lol
Mine's pms-ing right now...so when she rolled outta bed this morning, plopped down on the couch beside me, and simply said "pancakes", take a wild guess what happened...

Two or three fried eggs, two or three slices of livermush. Just get the livermush hot and just starting to crisp the outside. Mix the eggs and livermush together. Salt and pepper to taste. Tall, tall glass of cold milk. Biscuits or toast.

No need to move after this meal. Just sleep it off.

I do scrambled eggs and mix in liver mush in, forget them milk, add a glass of sweet tea instead, and keep the toast lol.

Wife does 2 fried eggs and mixes in the grits with them. Then eats with toast

Runny yolk from over-easy eggs and pepper.

I put sugar in my grits when I attended several field-oriented schools in the Army just for extra calories. Hell, I even put sugar on pats of butter and ate that. Because if you didn't eat it during your one hot meal/2 MRE's a day, you didn't eat it. My stomach was always threatening to take out my stomach lining between 11pm and 4am. I eat sugar on grits now because of that.

Damn. you sugar grit boys need to good somewhere up north, and take your sugar grits with you.
11B, I understand why you started that horrible practice, but you don't have to do that anymore. Bless your heart.
