Out of stock everywhere. Ruger American and Savage both except for some compact models.
The Ruger American is bit pricier and has better reviews than Savage for quality.

What about .17hmr or .22LR, are they hard to find as well? I really like my Ruger American .17

If you don't mind spending the money... CZ's bolt action stuff is around. One reason is they are on the expensive side. However they may be the finest 22 bolt action rifles out there. Deadly accurate and fine made as you'll see. Some terrific wood on them. Finished to perfection. I just bought one and looked at another I really want. They out there. They are a step above in both accuracy and finish. I have a Lux and want one of the Royals. lux $550 Royal about $750 but a little cheaper if you shop around.

Decent 22lr ammo is hard to find all the sudden in my area. Bulk for sure. High power and speed for sure.
