Walking barefoot in the home taught me a lesson: Stepping on Tonka trucks, building blocks, matchbox cars, etc., helped me understand that my 15EEE dawgs could not withstand their combined wrath at 2 am in a dark room. Also, nothing like hitting a bed foot board or the bottom of a dresser head on with your toes to bring out a tune from your lips too.
