From the site....

"Imported used Sig P226 9mm pistol with one15rnd magazine

The pistol are in fair to good shape and show normal to heavy holster wear on the bluing of the gun.The grips are very worn and may need to be replaced. These guns are used military/police. Excellent functional condition."

Thanks for pointing this out.
After the hysteria dies down, Widener's is going to stay on my short list of companies to trust - companies who refused to gouge.
I wish the list was longer, but I'm ok with it being a short list, too

Hope somebody here can get the deal and have it delivered with no issues. Would be great to know how the transaction went and the condition of the gun....and maybe a pic. I would have got one myself but already filled my quota for purchases this month..... = no more cash!

I ordered a couple of M44 carbines from them in December. Had them shipped to Peter's Creek Pawn in Winston. The guns were as described and the transaction couldn't have been easier. And a shout out to Jason at PCP for making the transfer easy.

Anybody have a second to clear up this process for me?

I called CGR and Jims to see what their transfer fees were and got slightly different answers.

When registering for an account, it asks for FFL information to keep on file. But I was told on the phone to order it first and then tell Wideners the FFL name and 1) thats it or 2) then call the gun shop and have them fax FFL info directly.

Thanks in advance for any insight

I recommend you call Start to Finish Consulting (a sponsor here - http://www.starttofinishllc.com/). He will send his FFL over to Wideners. (He's doing this for me, so it should actually already be on file there.)

For some reason, some FFL's are a bit 'persnickety' about letting you see their actual FFL (so that you can in this case upload it as part of the order). It matters not. Wideners does this all day, so they're used to getting them as faxes AND they can double-check at the ATF's website.

Simply use your FFL's address as the "ship to" address (your name, in care of Start to finish or similar).

Then buy the pistol, and when it arrives at the FFL, pick it up and pay your $20 or whatever, while filling out your 4473 and showing your CCW.
