I thought waiting 4 months last year for my Shield was because of how new it was. I've had an order in at Lawmen's since July for a standard MP9 and haven't heard a word. I guess they're just that backed up on production and maybe it's the norm for some of them due to the school shootings?

Are you LE/Fire/EMS/Mil? If not, they my have scratched your order since S&W came down hard on them for selling M&P's at that $399 price point.

I've been on the waiting list at Lawmen's for a Shield since last November. Still haven't received the call yet.
Fortunately I picked one up earlier in the summer, but still wouldn't turn down the chance at another one at a decent price.

You more than likely won't get a call if you're not LE/Fire/EMS/Mil since they're now restricted sale items.
Yeah, I know about all that stuff with Smith from earlier this year.
But when I spoke to Josh, he said that they had found another distributor that they were going to use to honor the list, although the price would be going up from $325 to ~$375.
I told him I could live with that. Still no call, though.
