It sucks to see another forum member leave, but as jjwestbrook stated, they DO have internet up there, and I'm sure we wouldn't mind having a non-Carolina's resident here.

True, but a yankee isn't welcome from what I've been reading..

I'll chime in here and there and I'm more than willing to help folks here out on GB, Guns America sales or ammo sales in the area if it works for them. Also there is www.ohiosportsmans.com forum out here that has some good deals as well that I could help anyone with.

 

Hell Ohio aint in no yankee land. Yankee land is to the right and further north. Goodluck with the move and fill us in with what you see up there.

I hear you man.. I've come to appreciate the lower taxes, biscuits & grits. And of course the drawl I picked up the past 6 years as well :laugh:

I can't stand the whino's & socialists up north, but not every yankee has that in em'. The only thing I miss is the hunting & fishing. Perfect area out there... 10 pointers that weigh in at 220-300lbs dressed compared to the 10pts weighing 140-180lbs out here..

JD, it has been a pleasure sir. My son is deploying next week from your area and he has promised to keep in touch. We sure would like for you to do likewise. I will even (gulp) talk to you even if you are living in "yankee land"--lol. One of my best cyber friends is from Ohio. PM and will try to get you two in contact-good people. Hope your travels are safe and your arrival pleasant. Oh yes, will be moving a house to Hoke Co. next weekend below Aberdeen off 501 a few miles. wc
