    Hey folks,
My prepping is at a pretty good stage for materials and I’ve been working on improving self-sufficiency skills for a while now, including more of my own automotive work.
I changed out the rotors and pads on my wife’s car a couple weeks ago and was surprised the auto parts stores don’t recycle the rotors.
Would brake they make good hanging “steel” targets? Trying to figure out something to do with them instead of just collecting dust or throwing into a scrap metal pile.

I tried it and found they are brittle, they broke after being hit with either 38 spcl or 9mm. It would be ok on your land but not a public range.

I use them for the bottom for home made jack stands. Or a base for a bench grinder pedestal
