I'd rather we kept this site with a friendlier tone. Not everyone has great grammar, etc.

It's not a matter of good grammar. It's a matter of the abject arrogance to assume you don't need to look anything up. I've seen ads where a brand name has been misspelled when the very same name was featured prominently in one of the attached images.
