Found some LilGun today, bought three pounds, for loading 300BLK. The shop had maybe 12 pounds of it, so anybody looking, it's at H,G & H Sports on lower Springs Rd outside of Hickory, near Sig's Tire Service. He's actually built up his powder supplies lately, also has IMR 4227, IMR4895 and H4895 for you .308 guys, as well as Varget and CFE 223. It won't last long, though.

Found 2 pounds today only took 1. Have you ever loaded .357 with it? Found some 140 ftx's and set them on 18.3grs. Running about 1950 fps.

Never loaded any 140 .357s. I was looking into doing so a year or two back but couldn't find data for less than 158s. What's the barrel length on your carbine there TH? Any chrono data on that load in a 4" revolver?

    The barrel length is 18".
Never shot them thru a hand gun.

I have dropped back to 18.0 grs. Lightened up on the crimp.

    Showing 1875 on the chrono.

That's about where I settled with 140 gr. XTPs and H110. I liked that load but it was the only thing I uses 110 for. Thanks for the data.

Exactly. I just couldn't find any data on 140s at the time I was working up that particular load.

I like Lil Gun for high velocity, low recoil rounds. 158gr Hornady XTP over 17.5 gr of Lil Gun is awesome. It will make quite the impression on 1/2" steel plate! I Don't shoot it often because it is hot. After 6 rounds in my GP100, the barrel is quite warm. I understand it is great in a .357 rifle, no worries of heat.

It's my go to powder in Ruger Only .45 Colt loads. Having recently purchased a .300 BLK upper it is doing well there too.

It's outstanding for 125 and 155 grain HPBT's. I use Nosler green tip 125's, and Sierra Palma MK 155's. The ogive fits better in the magazine than the standard SMK does. The 155's will knock down pigs and rams at 300 yards.

I'm getting one ragged hole groups with Lil Gun and 125 gr Nosler BTs. Didn't get a chance to try it out on four legged targets last season but will next.

I need to locate some more lil gun for my 300blk subsonic 190gr loads and for my new load development on the 277 Wolverine. If only I wasn't so far from hickory.... Lol
