I thought this was posted here but I can't find it so I'll re-post to be sure. Announcing The Little Dandy Adjustable Rotor®……..

The LDAR® is a quality made unit produced right here in North Carolina, it's never seen China or Japan so it's truly MADE IN THE USA!!!! Machined from Stainless Steel to exacting tolerances it eliminates the need for the costly fixed rotors of the past. It is infinitely adjustable for all popular types of powders and produces exacting accuracy of powder drops. It is a snap to install, adjust and use. It in no way alters the original design of the Little Dandy powder measure.

The LDAR® comes complete with everything you need to use it immediately which is only the adjustment wrench which fits into any screwdriver handle that accepts ¼" removable bits which we all have a dozen of. As with any powder measure a scale to weigh the charge and make adjustments to the final load is required.

I have been selling these for about 2 years now and have produced and sold over 300 thus far. I try to keep a dozen or so on hand but sometimes demand out runs supply and it may take me several weeks to replenish. If you have interest please PM me so I can let you know what the on hand stock is and give you payment info. The price is $49.00 shipped conus and shipping is within 24 hours of receipt of payment.

As you can see from my post counts I'm not a stranger on any of the forums so rest assured I'm not a spammer or crook. Should you have any questions don't hesitate to ask.... Thanks.... BB

Big thumbs up for the LDAR!

I really have to give a big thumbs up to the LDAR!
I've spent the past few years gathering up equipment and reading up on reloading before I started putting everything together and working up loads. Yeah, it took me THAT long...
So when I saw this post from BB about this little device way back when, I kept it in the back of my mind.
I recently bought one and wow, I love it. The Little Dandy I bought used came with 5 rotors, which have been a little helpful but now the LDAR only makes them really good for those times I need to adjust the LDAR with powder still in the measure.
BTW, I was working up some .32S&W Long loads and able to adjust the LDAR down to 2.6gr of W231. Haven't tried to see how large a drop it'll make - yet.

How does this work with extruded powder? I used to use a cheap Lee powder measure, now I'm using an RCBS Chargemaster but a recent conversation is making me reconsider going back to a powder measure. Looking for something more consistant, the Lee was better than my Lymans but surely something must be better than that.

Lol, for the record -the way I show in the pic how to adjust the LDAR is not the intended way to do it. It was a poor attempt to humorously justify still having the old rotors laying around. For pistol loads, this thing is the bomb!
I also have a Uniflow bolted to bench, just to the right of the LD...
