I've been looking at this short-barreled Performance Center S&W 627 for a month or two now. Each time I've seen it, I've spent a minute or two trying to come up with a practical reason to purchase it. Today I decided that lust was a good enough reason.

:drool:Nice.............. Nice.............. Nice..........

Extra sharp looking carry piece. I love the size, look, and profile of this gun in .357 mag with 8 chances to get a bad guy off of you.

 Call it lust if you will, but it must be contagious....

Thanks for posting cens !

Ref the "carry piece" bit, that's the part that makes me think the gun is impractical. The cyliner is close to 2" wide and the gun must weigh aorund 2.5 lbs loaded. Anyone have suggestions on how I could conceal this beasty under anything other than a jacket? Maybe an ankle holster?

Nice!

Lust is waaay back on my list of justification. I have now narrowed it down to "if it's legally for sale"...if it is...that's all the justification I need :)

VERY nice. I want one now.

Guess you could go buy all new pants- a size larger- or look at it this way- now you have a reason to buy another pistol- that one's just not reasonable inside the pants....Really is a nice-lookin' piece- that S&W look.

I've lost over 30 pounds over the past few months -- it would certainly fit inside most of my waistbands right now. I accept that I'll never be able to conceal a 627, even a snubby one, unless I'm wearing a jacket. I'll probably end up getting an OWB holster or possibly a shoulder rig for it.
