Need recommendations on a muzzle break that will add some more sound to an otherwise quiet round. Had a problem with the timer not picking up the sound of the rifle during the match. The RO has to be up to close for the timer to pick it up and is getting in the way.

Better question is what timer was he using and does it have an adjustment for sensitivity? Most all good timers will pick up even something as quiet as airsoft guns if set correctly.

I agree. You shouldn't have to modify a rifle as popular as the M&P 15-22 so his shot timer picks up the report. Do you know if anyone else was having problems?

I would get the rainer single port brake, $29
Care to point it out and the location of 29$, for some reason I'm seeing 59$ everyplace.

Timer is an CED pro timer. It has missed timing on several 22 cal. But to be honest I didn't even think to have them check the sensitive level. Will do that first before the comp. this is why I love this form. Thanks for the help.

Should have a sensitivity adjustment, I would have them tune it for .22 when needed.

Out of stock...

Plus not any for 308....

Kind of piss poor the maker is selling cheaper then the other parts dealers.

It would be like Remington setting up a factory shop that we could go in and buy from them in NC direct, cheaper then the local stores.....
Not a good way to run a shop.
They are ON SALE, and probably the reason they are also out of stock. Nobody was crying when Geissele did it a few days ago, why is this a big deal?

Would need to look back at the price, but I think it was msrp and they added the other gear.
The best price I was finding was more then msrp plus shipping.
maybe you have not been on the other side of things and had a maker undercut you and sell cheaper then the dealer pays for it.
That is why you don't have local dealers carry and sell lines of products.

Gamemaster, where are you competing where the timer they are using will not pick up a 22? I know that the folks at PHA never had any troubles with their timers when I was there . My pocket pro is adjusted all the way down to where I wear it on my belt and it still picks up the shots when I running Bill drills.
My 15-22 is a straight barrel, not even the flash suppressor, still registers. Sounds like operator error to me .

We checked the timers that were used at the range and it looks like it is time for them to be replaced. I have my own timer and it worked ok and several other shooters have the same brand, we should be good to go next match. All things mechanical have to be replaced at some point and they still work for center fire but not for rimfire sometime time.
