I attended the IDPA at Mecklenburg Wildlife Club today. Just wanted to get an idea on who else was there..

I found the match well run and I liked that the SOs stayed in the bay. Lending to consistency.

The bad was that I was #1 on stage 5 and felt that the SO did not answer my questions. It was frustrating that I felt I was wasting his time. Not trying to spread bad feelings, just that when they ask "any questions" the question should be answered so that the shooter can understand them...

Other than that the match was very enjoyable, was run safely and smoothly. I will attend again.

Had to miss this one. Probably will miss the next as well with the arrival of my second son due sometime around Halloween. The usually run a good match. It can get a little discombobulated when large crowds show up (like when they run a classifier shoot--expect 60+ shooters). As long as you've got nearly all day, there isn't much of an issue...oh, and a chair that you can move from stage to stage.
