It started back in late Oct 2013. I looked around this forum for a couple weeks looking at reviews and posts learning about NFA items.

I sent a PM on Oct 23rd "I think we should talk about cans" (my first PM on the forum)
About 30 minutes later he replied and answered my novice questions without making me feel like a novice. Then invited me out to his gun club to try out some cans.

At the range broke out various toys and pretty much everything I wanted to see he had there for me to demo. I secured a couple cans (Ti rant 45 and a 22 can). Two hours later I had a email with my official invoice. Over that night I was going back and forth on my selection and had "not buying remorse". Called up Shawn the next day and upgraded the 22 can to a AAC top of the line. This was not a problem at all with them!

By the time my cans showed up our PM can looked like this re;re;re;re;re;re;re;re;re;re;re;re;re;re;re;re;re;re;re;re;re;re;re;re;re;re;re;re;re;re;re;re;re;re;re;re I think we need to talk about cans.
I think the longest reply along the way was not over 12 hours. I think Shawn likes selling and having good customer service but does he sleep?LOL

I would 100 percent suggest using Carolina Smoke and Guns for all of your NFA needs. Plus he is a dealer for many other good quality components.

Thank you Shawn and family for carrying me through the process.

    I agree.

I deal with Shawn on many, many too many fronts. Lol

All kidding aside, he and I my not always agree 100% on everything, but that's why he is a friend. He cares deeply for the 2nd Amendment, his customers and friends. It shows in the level of passion in simple everyday interactions.

One thing you will always know is, his heart is in the right place and he will treat you the same.

    None of your business, eh!
Yeah, we all like Shawn, but we also know Susan is the brains behind CS&G.

I agree, Randy. All the dealings I've had with Shawn have been top-notch.

Had the good fortune to meet Shawn and Susan this year. Both seem to be wonderful people. He was was very patient with me when we were transferring an item he had been waiting on for some time. Good folks. You can deal with confidence.

    Shawn costs me money.

Thats not a bad thing. :D

What other dealer can you go to, get something or do a transfer, sit down at the fire pit, have a good cigar and a beer?

Or do that after he hammers out some stubborn FSB pins? :)

Apart from him being a Cowboys fan, Shawn's a good guy.

Everybody is entitled to one mistake.
