Thought I'd share this. After having several 1911s I thought I'd try my hand at buliding one from the ground up. Specs include: Caspian slide,Wilson Combat Frame, trigger, lockwork,extended thumb safety and slide release, 30 lpi mainspring housing, beaver tail grip safety and Commander style hammer, Kart National match barrel with stainless bushing and Wolf spring set. Grips are Punisher tacticals with hex head grip screws. Slide is being sent out to be blued. After it's done I'll be putting in a set of Novak Night Sights.
