I had a drafting table identical to this post in my breakfast room, with a lamp on it, with three chairs identical to this when I was a bachelor and it looked REALLY great.

That was my wife's idea too- make a table out of it. But then I reminded her we don't have space to have another table in the house.

I already had the three Telescope tall directors chairs, and a neighbor wanted me to store their drafting table. Without seeing how good it all looked in person it's hard to describe, but I was really unhappy when the owner wanted it back six months later. I think they liked how it looked too and decided to get with the program.
