Our unit has a Reservist Soldier from the Fayetteville area who failed to qualify with the M9. She has expressed the initiative to go to a range on her own to practice. Anyone know a range in the Fayetteville area where she can rent a Beretta M9/92? The firing distances would be 5 meters out to 25 meters. Any info would be appreciated.

I have a 92A1, got rid of my 92, but if she needs to do everything, like from holster, Jims or Guns Plus won't help. 37PSR is the spot, I'd be willing to go and do an assist.
She doesnt need to do all that cool stuff lol, just hit targets and be able to perform a couple of mag changes. I downloaded a copy of the firing tables for her and Guns Plus should be fine. However, if her accuracy does not improve, we very well might call on you for an assist. As her NCO, I would do it myself, but we live four plus hours apart.
Thanks for the gracious offer, we really do appreciate it.

Not to be rude but direct, this is why she could not qualify in the first place. Poor training or lack of it results, because of crap in = crap out. I would say that as a person with a gun the training you take today can allow you to live later in life if ever needed. Please do not look at this as a direct attack from me because its not. I would ask to look at your view of the low standards you just put up for the world to see and who ever is the training NCO needs to be taking care of this Soldier, if the do not they must be replaced. Much less the NCOIC of the range staff that ran the range in the first place. I hate to say it but if standards are allowed to slip to that level something needs to be looked at.

Its a bigger issue.

And new guys need to start at step one, rather than jump to advanced techniques. We will train her as to what is expected to qualify (stand at low ready, engage target, change mag, engage target, walk forward, engage target). Once proficiency is established at the baseline, we can move on.
I did not set the standards, Big Army did. I simply operate within them, and noone is 'letting standards slip'. Your issue is with Big Army, not anyone in my unit. Call the Pentagon.
