My Father-in-law gave me a Remington SpeedMaster Model 241 the other day. It is an old "Gallery" gun that shoots 22 shorts only. It must be at least from the 40s. Serial #421xx. It loads from the buttstock and my FIL lost the magazine tube that you remove to load it. Tried Numrich, Dick Williams,Poppert's,Wisnors with no luck. Anybody got any suggestions. It is also missing the rear sight elevator but that won't be a problem. I am very happy to see this new sub-forum. Thanks for any help.

i wouldn`t order one first, but if you know someone who has a Browning 22 auto, you might try the tube to see if it fits. Lots of Browning`s older designs fit across mfg lines, but not all. If it does, surely Brownell`s will have that.???? You might try them anyway....
