Don't ya just hate to get a new wallet? I had to replace mine a few months ago and had a hard time finding one that I liked. I finally settled on the Fire Hose wallet from Duluth Trading Co. I'm liking it.

I used one of these until it "disappeared" about 3 weeks ago. Great wallet, after 3 years it showed almost no wear.

 

It's pretty cool but expensive for a piece of stamp cut oiltan with unfinished edges. Burnishing & finishing of the edges is what leatherwork is supposed to be.

 

Not a traditional folder guy, I carry my wallet in the front pocket, I have 2 cards, driver license, and CHP to carry and little cash on hand.

i have one of his wallets and a portfolio, he does nice leatherwork. would love to pick up one of his briefcases, but don't currently have a need for one.

I have a Trayvax and really like it. The TSA folks at the airport look at it funny, but it works great and is more comfortable than my previous big old wallet.

 

Which one ya got? I wonder if the Element is worth the extra cash

I think I have a TrayVax I've never used if interested. For sale cheap.

New on Amazon for $30 + shipping. It's the "original wallet" and guarantee I can beat that price

I've been using a Trayvax for a couple months and really like it. I use it for cash and seldom used cards. My iPhone case carries ID, debit card and CHP.

 

Looks like a decent deal! It appears to come with a $50 bill in it!

 

Front pocket carry. Bills, id, and a couple credit cards in a small generic binder clip from the office. I do get a new binder clip every coup,e of years, the new ones perform about as good as the old ones. I did get a gold one once, but then I had to repurpose it for a report and ended up going back to black.

 

I been using the Aluma-wallet for as few years now. Keeps all the contents clean from saw dust and such. Carry it in front pocket. Just don't overload it, hinge will not last long if you do.

Just to be different - my vote is for the "big skinny". It's a traditional folder, but it is super thin. I'm not sure what material they use, but its the thiinest wallet ive ever had. Going on 4 years and still kicking.

Check out the "sergeant". Options are leather, fire hose material, or a vinyl material. Small business and made in the USA. I keep a credit card sized multitool (like the one linked below) behind my cards, and they don't bend and crack like they used to in my folder wallets.

That's the exact wallet I carry. Love that thing. I think it's worth the price. Front pocket carry. Plenty of room for all the cards I use. Only problem is nowhere to put receipts so I fold them with my cash.

I use this exact one and love it. Going on two years and looks brand new.

 

Big money wallet.

Small money and plastic. Tough as nails trifold. 10 bucks. Last one I had like this lasted 15 years.
