I couldn't resist the sale PSA had on a factory lower with Magpul SL furniture for 149.99 so there is where it started.
I ordered a BCM 14.5 socom upper with pinned A2 complete with BCG and Mod 4 CH
Ordered a magpul carbine handguard
I have a magpul flip up rear sight waiting
I am considering a red dot of some sort next payday. My local shop has eotech but I read where there is something going on with them.
Maybe aimpoint pro? Would like some advise. I wanted a quality build that I will be keeping so not interested in junk but not shelling out acog money either...

So if I am comparing a aimpoint Pro vs an eotech 512 you still think the pro is the way to go? I am trying to stay at 400.00 for the optic give or take. I think locally my gunshop has the eotech for 399.00 if I remember correctly. Aimpoint pro looks like 425 online so they are both in my price range.

I would say so.... EOTech's current refund process aside, the PRO is just has the battery life, reliability, and durability on its side.

Just got the aimpoint pro with cover from LAPolice Gear for 387 shipped the had a 15% coupon on line they may still have it.... Worth checking it out....
