I'm new to these forums, and also new to the arena of shooting I'd like to spend my time on: long-range/precision rifles. I've been a trap/skeet shooter since I was in high school, but this is brand-new territory. I've managed to put together (what I think) is a decent Savage Model 10 platform, but I'm kinda stuck for places to shoot. I live in Pittsboro, and it seems like Range 37 is the only semi-public range with any real distance available. They certainly seem like a nice range (haven't made it down there yet) but expensive. Does anyone have any other suggestions for (semi) local long-distance opportunities?
