I noticed that, its actually the slide thats a bit different. The sig slide is more squared at the top vs rounded like most other 1911s. I heated one of my old Crossbreeds and reformed it, seems to work but in leather I bet there would be fitment issues.

I would be very surprised if you found to much of a problem with that pistol. I have a P229 and a P6 and they are both excellent pistols. I think you will really like it.

I am liking it so far, got a few hundred through it and its been perfect except for 1 ftf. I think it was my fault and has not happened since. Gotta remember to slingshot that slide when chambering the first round. Just got in a set of CT master series laser grips....she looks sweet!

I have a railed stainless Sig 1911 that I absolutely love. But the lack of holsters that fit is killing me.

There are several members here who make holsters. If you are close enough to one of them they can use your gun as a mold if they dont have a blue gun for it. I was lucky and was able to reform a kydex holster to work while im waiting for new ones to come in. I dont have a rail on mine obviously so it was easier to do.

You are absolutely right about the local kydex folks. I know the folks at Daranich and I've been happy with what I've gotten from them. However, I really like the ALS retention from Safariland, but only the SLS is available for the railed sig with light.

Does your sig have the odd slide like mine....a bit wider and more square along the top? I am new to sigs so I dont know the models in the 1911 platform. I guess the standard railed 1911 holsters dont fit? If it is a standard profile here is an option for gov sized with a rail. I run a few of these on a Glock and an M&P and love them. I think its a similar retention setup as the ALS.
