    Gun Rights Supporters:

You might have gone to bed in North Carolina, but I’m afraid you woke up in Florida... Broward County, to be exact.

Remember how we won and sent a good conservative to Congress in the election held more than a month ago, namely Mark Harris, who won the 9th Congressional District race by a scant 905 votes?

Leftists stealing election… right here in NC!

Well, never mind. Now the left wants a “do-over,” and they will likely get it.

Yep. Just like in Florida and Georgia, the leftists are now trying to steal this election, too. In fact, the North Carolina State Board of Elections has now twice refused to certify the results of the election, citing what they claim are “irregularities.”

At the forefront of this effort to unseat an elected Republican is, of course, the Charlotte Observer, which is running full page articles on the effort.

Conservative Mark Harris tops leftist ‘hit list’

And as you may be aware, Harris is a TRUE pro-gun conservative, who has promised to sponsor pro-gun legislation and to join the Freedom Coalition, which is chaired by Congressman (and patriot) Mark Meadows of the 11th Congressional District in western North Carolina.

That, of course, places Harris at the top of the leftist hit list.

The complaints center on absentee ballots turned in for (of course) Republican Mark Harris, despite the fact that even the Observer admits, “Collecting and delivering applications for absentee ballots isn’t illegal.”

But the volume of absentee ballots, says the Observer, was “too high.” Translated, that means the get-out-the-vote effort for Harris was “too effective.”

Indeed, one of the cases of supposed malfeasance cited by the Observer and its parent company, McClatchy Newspapers (which also owns both the Raleigh News & Observer and the Durham Herald-Sun) said her ballot was collected by a “friend of the family,” which is likely perfectly legal.

Another instance cited by McClatchy involved receiving 1,000 voter registration applications from people already registered to vote which – to me – suggests an effort to ask Republicans, “Are you registered to vote? You’re not sure? Well, let’s submit another one to be on the safe side.” Again, perfectly legal.

Media casts unsupported aspersions on Harris

There is, apparently, one unsavory character on the fringes of the investigation, one Leslie McRae Dowless, who apparently paid two (yes, two) women to harvest absentee ballots.

But ignoring for a moment that nobody has yet determined how many ballots Dowless harvested – saying only that he collected 590 APPLICATIONS for ballots, what we see here is the application of the game “some say” (as in “some say you club baby seals for sport”) – in which the speaker casts aspersions on the accused without actually citing any evidence for the accusation.

The Observer plays “some say” against Harris by implying, without citing evidence, that Harris hired Dowless, who in truth may have been hired by another consulting firm.

'Not a Democrat or Republican decision’? Yeah, right...

The Democrat head of the State Board of Elections has already resigned amid accusations of partisan maneuvering.

But perhaps richest of all was the claim by State Board of Elections Vice Chair (and also Democrat) Joshua Malcolm, that the decision not to certify is “not a Democrat or Republican decision” while conveniently ignoring that the irregularities occurred in Bladen County (12,543 registered Democrats, but only 4,131 registered Republicans) and Robeson County (48,762 registered Democrats, but only 9,730 registered Republicans).

Translated, that means in the counties of suspected fraud, Democrats outnumber Republicans by as much as 5 to 1.

    Democrat McCready won’t say whether
...he will vote to impeach Trump!

And through all of this, of course, local and national media alike are clamoring for a “do-over” – a new election so they can install Dan McCready – who, parroting other anti-Trump Democrats, has already refused to say whether he would support impeaching Donald Trump – into Congress.
    • "Alleged fraud clouds NC’s 9th District vote; possibility of a new election is raised” celebrates the Charlotte Observer.
    • "A New Election Might Be the Only Way Forward in North Carolina” breathlessly announces New York Magazine.
Meanwhile, Politico says: “Democrats are quickly ramping up for a sequel. The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee has deployed a dozen aides and lawyers to the district and the campaign has resumed daily campaign conference calls. They’re also sorting out with lawyers how to raise money under these circumstances, and at the same time calling staffers and volunteers back into action.”

Right now, we can’t stop them!

Here is the problem: Our gun rights political action committee, the GRNC Political Victory Fund, was largely responsible for Harris’ primary election win against incumbent (and RINO) Robert Pittenger, and played a role – through thousands of robocalls, emails and online ads – in Harris’ general election victory.

But we spent everything we had to win the elections.

If they succeed in requiring a new election – which is looking increasingly likely – we don’t have the resources to fight the battle again.

    Where you live doesn’t matter...
STOP LEFTISTS FROM STEALING THIS ELECTION!

So, folks, I am asking you to help us prevent the left from stealing this congressional seat – regardless of whether you live in the 9th Congressional District.

Our federally registered political action committee, the GRNC Political Victory Fund (GRNC-PVF) plans on doing phone calls, email and advertising in the 9th Congressional re-vote!

But we can’t do it without your help! Please help us defeat this effort to steal a North Carolina congressional seat:
We absolutely MUST send Mark Harris to Congress.

    Armatissimi e liberissimi,

    F. Paul Valone

P.S. Yes, I know. It’s Christmas, and you have big expenses. Unfortunately, the left never sleeps. Anything you can do will help: $100, $50, or even $25. Please help us defeat this effort by the left to steal this election!

My range owner, Stony Rushing, is running for the GOP nomination in the primary. The national media is, of course, portraying him as a Boss Hogg outfit wearing, gun-loving hillbilly. What I can tell you is he is a good, honest man who is a Patriot.

As of today, no one in the 9th district has representation in the House of Reps. Wish I could get 1/3 of my federal taxes back since I only have 2/3 federal representation.

    @bigB6flyer thx for the info.
Is Stony good candidate, do you think he has the support, stamina and know-how to defeat the leftist mafia & propaganda arms, that I am sure, will descent onto the district when election begin ?

It will be interesting to see how many candidates the Republicans field for the primary. There is concern that if too many come out & there isn’t an obvious front runner, funding will be divided amongst them, weakening them all.

That being said, I think Stony has a few things going for him & a couple against. First & foremost, he is passionate about the issues, knows them well, and knows his electorate. Few people know the history of this election better than him. Few people are able to explain the truth about it. He has been around the area most of his life, particularly Union Co. He’s also on point on many of the issues that most of the district feels are important. His opponent, while extremely well-funded & has the media on his side, will be forced to embrace the far left policies of his party. That agenda is one many are not comfortable with & will not vote for—with the exception of some of the Left wing NE/CA wingnuts that have moved into the western suburbs of the district. Turnout will be key especially in the 2nd election.

If I move back to North Carolina it will be one more person helping to fight for NC gun rights.. Sadly, the NE/CA transplants ruined my home state of Oregon.. I am an Oregonian refugee. What once was a Libertarian kind of paradise has turned into a Antifa-run National Socialist Hell. :(
