Anyone teaching Basic Pistol and the NRA Instructor class anywhere close to Winston/Salem area or just in the Piedmont region?

If folks are interested in becoming NRA Instructors, I can pull together a class.

I'm an NRA Training Counselor and can certify for Rifle or Pistol Instructors (NOT CCW instructor, by the way).

Let me know if there is any interest. If there is, I'll put one on the calendar.

It would be in the Charlotte area. The class is 3 days long: First day is Basic Instructor training, next 2 are discipline specific. It 'can' be jammed into two very long days, but I generally don't think that's a good idea. Generally, I like to do a Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Approximate cost: I'll swag it at $150 per person +/-.

You can pm me if you want but let's get things up on the site so folks can hash out some of the details of time, etc.

In order to conduct a class, there needs to be at least 8-10 people. Its really more like a workshop and the more bodies, the better everyone learns.

We're 25% towards our goal!!!

ill say this... i would need a decent advanced notice to attend... at least a month so i can schedule a friday off from work... plus getting the $$ together will take a bit of notice too... but it is something that i am VERY interested in doing within the next 6 months

Class

There will be plenty of advance notice - I'll need to take time from work too!!! Think on the term of 8-10 weeks notice so we can all adjust our schedules as needed, folks can send in their checks, etc, etc. Plus I'll have to order the student books and materials, etc...

The class will be open to anyone interested in becoming certified - Not just members of this group. So let your friends / shooting buddies know too.
