Normally I don't record transmissions but this one was worth it.

Apparently the officer working at the show today didn't know the laws pertaining to private gun sells, his buddy knew the law aside from the "registering" of pistols portion he added.

Part 1:

A few minutes later he calls someone else and asks the same thing. I missed the first part, but did catch the better half... if you want to call it that.

Part 2:

My question now is, which one of you were camping out at Advanced Auto with an AR?

Damn scary ....

EDIT: I guess funny wasn't the rifle word in my original post. The part I found funny was when he said he wouldn't even know how to load an AR. That's sad if you ask me.

That recording should be on the chief of police's desk Monday morning!
Maybe even forward it to "whistle blower 9"

NOT funny at all. Arrogant piece of crap manages to get all four of those neurons firing at once to announce was retards we are down here for not having to jump thru 4,000 hoops to have a rifle sold from one individual to another.

It is a good thing I was not close by. My mouth would have gotten me a ticket to jail.

What department were they with? Someone needs to email the link to these recordings to the head of their department so they can give some training to the idiot from Merryland about his lack of general knowledge of state laws. Hopefully some ******* will whip his ignorant ass and send him back north.

Couple of Yankees......with no knowledge of the laws that they are supposed to be enforcing.

Best part is where he says he wouldn't even know how to load an AR! And for the Deputy to say over teh air that he should confiscate it and take home and throw it in his safe..........oh yeah that stuff does happen as I know guys who it has happened to!

did I hear that second recording right? Did the other officer advise him to commit a crime by illegally confiscating that AR and put it in his gunsafe? Then further tell him to give it to him, he would make sure it got used? WTF?

Most cops appear to be ignorant of pretty much every gun law aside from the obvious "Felons can't have guns" and "No guns in the jail"

No one cares.

If there is an incident or complaint then there might be a memo or mandatory training for just that specific eventuality as a knee-jerk CYA by the department.

You've got cops that violate the 1934 NFA routinely and think it's okay because they're sworn. It doesn't help that the Feds ruled that it IS okay for them to do it, either.

Its was just some guy's working shooting the ****. Ya they say so messed up things but I have said a lot worst just wasn't recorded. We do it all the time doesn't mean we are going to do it. Unless they took the AR then we have a problem. Other than than that let it go

Are you surprised? I don't believe AR training is part of the academy for non-swat officers... only service pistol and shotgun. If an officer wants to correct me on this, feel free to.

Some guy made a statement on the forum the other day wondering why there was an "anti-cop" sentiment.

The cops on HERE are good guys. Unfortunately, that is not all cops.
It's like I tell people, "there are black guys and then there are 'naggers' (we all know the real word that goes there)". There are LEOs and then there are "cops".

Makes you think about the things that can't be traced huh?

thats ridiculous . one question though was this a phone conversation that was recorded?
Of course not; that's illegal. This was over the radio.

I'm not going to worry about sending it in to the dept. Their tapes never stop rolling, they already have it. I'm willing to bet even if this was reported, all that would come out of it is a memo to officers stating to stop tying up the radios with non-sense and use their cell phones, which many of them already do.

I don't mean to create another cop bashing thread, I'm just giving it straight from the horses mouth.

Pretty sure the Meck county sheriffs dept was working the funshow.

Regardless, listening to that makes my head hurt, there are ignorant people in all walks of life, LEO included.

Would be fun to send it in to action 9 though...

Yeah? well if shooting the ****e means insulting the intelligence level of those "stupid retards" down here of the people they are supposed to be serving, then those servants of the people won't mind if I invite them to perform an anatomical impossibillty on themselves, insult them as jack booted thugs and fascists, and refuse to help them and in general make their jobs harder.

Add to that joking about using their power to illegally confiscate private property.... which we KNOW does go on, and I think that is just one hell of a joke HAW HAW HAW. Can hardly control myself. I mean, people need to just lighten up a little! HEE HEE HEE. It is all in the spirit of good fun! Chuckle.

Fluckwitted nimrods should be bounced back to Maryland so fast their gluteus leaves dual gouges in I-95 at least up to Richmond.

remove your panties out of your crack. nobody's rights were violated. just 1 ignorant arrogant import who thinks that things should be done like up north and another joker giving him crap about it.

There needs to be an IQ booth to sell these guys guns!!!!!

AHAHAHAHAHAHAAH!!!!!!!

I think this is a fake...

Were they on personal 2 ways or did they switch channels? No way that's on the open police channel. Not nearly enough traffic. And dispatch or a supervisor would have shut that one down me thinks.

Or maybe I missed something, too many big words. My head hurts now. Gonna go swill some Pabst Blue Ribbon and jump in the sack with my cousin. Can one of you Yanks translate that for me. Slowly please. Later YA'LL.

The problem is, these assholes are out supposedly enforcing laws without bias... Instead they are talking about how stupid law abiding people are, bashing on "********" and advising eachother to commit an illegal act... They need at the very least to get their asses chewed out by the chief...

What a Doofus...

In the first take, when his mushmouth speech was mistaken "individual" for "division" :

"...no...oh, I'm sorry it's a big word, you're from the South"

The other guy was far too kind to him...I would have shut his Yankey arse down on that one...get the Bronx mush out of your mouth and then perhaps someone can understand you. So, what does he do...continues on his Southern-slander rant. This knuckledragger shows he lacks the professionalism and intellectual maturity to be trusted in this job.

Very telling, that at the same time he's taking cheap shots at Southerner's intelligence because his words were garbled, he's proving himself too stupid to even be up to speed on laws he is hired to monitor and enforce - jerk.

I'm afraid there are far too many screwups like this guy, who offer no value to the private sector, swindle themselves into the public sector ending up with a gun and a badge to "protect and to serve". The guy is a disgrace to the good peace officers.

Regards,

MD

This is how things start. A lil joke, then it escalates to a cruel joke. After the cruel joke it escalates to illegality. If you were to jokingly say to a female coworker, lets jump in the sack and do the horizontal bump, you'd be fired. Of course you would say, it was just a joke. BUT if she said ok, then 99 times out of 100 you'd do the horizontal bump.

When rights get threatened, the first thing people say is I was joking. When somebody says "I'm gonna kill that so and so", maybe they don't mean it and it's just anger talking. When so and so DOES get killed, who do you think they look at? So, my argument is this, how do we know they were joking? Because they laughed? I'm sure he didn't mean to commit a crime or even entertained the idea, BUT the thing is how do we know they wouldn't? You gotta be extremely careful these days with what you say and whom you say it to. Even discussing breaking a law should be serious enough to make folks mad.

Just because somebody is a cop, policeman, deputy, or leo or what have you, does not mean they are completely honest. After all, cops don't give other cops speeding tickets.

That absolutely needs to be on the sheriffs desk. One officer insults and entire region of citizens, the folks who pay his freaking salary. Then he advises the other one to commit a crime, illegally confiscate private property then steal evidence for personal use. I would also forward it to whistle blower.

Do you know what dept this was?
