Unless it was also from your same examiner- id say it's not useful to you... Case in point, mine was pending 6/11 and as of this AM- not approved.... Hence the value of us tracking data here.... Though I think Nc and SC have different examiners as well...

I know it's not an exact guarantee, but it's a comparison basis. Even if it was in the same area it could have a 3 week give or take on either side. My dad and I are both in the Columbia area and submitted paperwork at the same time and I got mine almost a month quicker.

they ALWAYS say 6 months....They will continue to do so, since that generally encompasses the whole system.

Some areas are quicker than others..less demand for NFA items.

He's right; their default response is 6 months. I got my last Form 4 back after 4.5 months and that was WITH a 2-3 week delay due to an error (dealer didn't sign the 2nd copy).

Thats odd. Not that it's an excuse but I imagine they get hundreds of calls a day about people upset about the wait time. I've called probably about 6 times about my suppressors and my dad's...no issues.
