I thought the officer handled himself and the situation very well, other than the shooting in the head part, I thought that was a little much, "engage you and shoot you" would have been better. I am sure this will be a great discussion. I am a firm believer of the 2nd Amendment and I think we have a ridiculous culture with ridiculous assumptions that led to a time where we cant carry a long rifle without fear. Would I carry around a long rifle? No, but I do believe in ones right to do so if they choose. I can see were it could be justified like the officer points out but all in all the officer did well and made some very valid points considering the current day and age.
