Ok guys, I'm building a custom 10/22. I have the above Revolution Extreme Woodland Camo thumbhole stock.

I have decided, after much much thought and going back and forth a few times, to get a KIDD match barrel. I finally decided against getting it threaded as well.

Now I just want ya'lls opinions on which looks better: the Bead Blasted or the Polished. I'm already leaning toward the Polsihed.

Here is a pic from Kidd's website that shows the difference:

Wow..

it's
Blasted: 4
Polished: 2
so far.

The receiver is blue, but I haven't decided if I'm gonna do what Cruizingwith4 did by having the receiver polished:

I'm still leaning toward Polished; but keep ya'lls opinions coming----DirtySCREW

Hey ds, buy both and then you can give me the one you don't want. LOL. I say go with polished. Also get with me sometime and we can put my receiver and barrel on your stock and see what it looks like.
hmm. I've offered my home to you when the Mrs. kicks you to the dog house for buying "too much" gun stuff....YOU should be buying ME both and you can keep the one I don't want..however I'm sure I could find another project for the other barrel!! LOL----DirtySCREW

Normally I'd say blasted, but with that stock I think that the polished would look spectacular.
yup...and I must say Daisy Duster's comment
Polish barrels are not known for their accuracy, better to try a Finnish barrel.
made me laugh so hard I had nearly choked :)

I would go for the blasted because I don't like shiny silver... but that's just me. If it were up to me, everything would be either matte black or a shiny deep bluing. The polished could look good with that stock though.
