Part of a black bear paw?

Dog came back from the swamp behind our townhouse here in Winterville and brought this with her.

Looks like part of a small black bear paw to me. What do you all think? I could be way off.

That's what it looks like to me. Bear was probably already dead, otherwise your dog would likely have some scratches at minimum.

Thanks for the confirmation. Sb- dog looks fine to me so that's also the same conclusion I came to. Crazy what dogs will eat or bring home to their owners. She brought home a whole hind quarter of a deer one time.
