Fun shoot today. Any idea where PHA prints out the results?
In this thread
Man what a match today. That was a good one, a little tough down hill.
Another great job by the PHA folks. Thanks to the RO's also. Excellent job. Can't wait till the next one.
I haven't run that much in 20 years. Tired after a great day at the range. Fun looked to be had by all. The new upper bay was real nice. We need to get that escalator installed ASAP.
Thanks for all the hard work folks put in to let us have some fun on a Saturday.
Ian and I had a blast again... As mentioned above, thanks a ton to everyone who puts this thing on.. i know it's a ton of hard work and it is really appreciated.
had a great time shooting, thanks to the RO's and the people that set up the stages for us to shoot.........cant wait till all of the bays are open
Thanks to all those to put this on. I had a great time, got to see some familiar faces and put some faces with names from here.
Had a great time........loved the stages!
Had a great time at PHA again!
Next time can the old fat boys use segways on those moving stages????
Everything was said in the above posts but I'll say it again...Good job RO's!!
Had a great time also even though I broke out the chin plow on the last stage......luckily I was the last shooter of the day and the crowd had thinned out. I guess my legs couldn't keep up with my upper body.
Can't wait till next month. Thanks to the RO's.
learned some important lessons....shoot your rifle first when you put new sights on it! I think I hit 3 targets!
Had a great time and thanks to all the nice RO`s out there that helped me out. I`m glad Robert (christyouthguy) was there...he shot the lights out on the last stage!
We are already working on next months stages. Hope we have some new wrinkles and new challenges. First time that we had three stages. We will work out the kinks as we go forward. Thanks for coming out. Remember the AESIR TRAINING Basic Carbine Course on Oct.1, and the Basic Handgun Course on Oct 2, here at PHA. If interested go to http://aesirtraining.com to learn more about the courses and to sign up. I'd be there, but I'll be in California then. See you in October.
Thats some funny stuff!
Had a great time as I always do, was very excited about the new training bay being opened allowing us to run a 3rd stage, and liked all the running around. It was great seeing everyone and putting a couple more faces to screen names. Thanks again to all the RO's and those who put in the time to design and setup the courses.
Another great match. Unfortunately my little camera got bored and shut off in the middle of each stage so no POV video this month. Being an RO definitely gives you an appreciation for what it takes to run these matches and keep them moving. Big thanks to the guys that do this every month; we wouldn't have much of a match without them.
Now back to trying not to move my knees too much. xP
I didn't get video on the middle stage but here are my other 2.
I'm pretty happy with my runs, +4 on the middle stage, +2 on the top stage, and +21 on the lower stage. It would've been nice to shoot at least one stage clean but there's always next month
I'll go ahead and ditto all that has been said about today. After missing the last 3 months (no more letting the wife have complete control over the summer calendar), I was rusty but still shot pretty well...minus the longer shots on the lower stage. GREAT to see the new training bays coming together and having 3 squads rotating through definitely sped things up.
Looking forward to seeing everyone I saw today next month along with some old and new faces!
Still no match results or am I looking in the wrong spot?
they'll show up here just give them time
DANG come on girls I work in garage not an office. I need some weekend to do other thing too. I will get the scores out soon. OH just kidding about the girls thing I don't shoot that will to mean it!!
+1 to the comment about sighting in new sights/scopes. I did +3 on the middle, +5ish on the top and +95ish on the lower...
Only had time to sight in at a friends, in his back yard, at about 30 feet... I'm thinking I shot about a foot over all the targets on the lower stage, all but the 3 close ones were very safe.
sucks dont it.....It wont be like that the next time!
Had a great time....First "tactical" shoot. I was something like +4 or 5 on the top, + 29 or 30 on the middle (yes I shoot a hostage, it was a fless wound) however I was only +5 on the lower...
i saw some camars, so where are the pix :90:
Im looking forward to hopefully getting to shoot next month too if all goes well.
Every time I get to try my stuff out, I learn something. This was my second time shooting my 1911, and my mag holder was on my belt in a position that when I dropped my slung rifle on the middle stage it interfered with my forced mag change since it only holds 8. Next time, I will keep that interference in mind.
I didn't realize until it was over, that they were counting any head shot instead of the "A" zone.
Hate I missed this one. I'll definitely be there next month with the Cetme and one of the ARs.
Another great match.
Have some pictures, and as soon as I can find my SD card reader, I will get them cleaned up and posted.
Think I'm going to join the two gun club next month. Been itching to bring the M1A out to a match for a little while now.
As always it was nice to see so many new shooters out there. I hope everyone had a great time and plan to make it back!!!! Be sure to bring more friends when you come back
was you the one who "blowed out" a leg on the lower course?
