I put some Mammoth Ivory grips on my wife's "Bar-B-Que" gun for her Birthday….if she doesn't like them…I guess I'll have to put them on one of my guns 
The gun is a Colt WW I Commemorative from 1969 that you can barely give away but they shoot well and make great eye candy.

Here is one of the cleanest original 1945 Colt M1911A1 USGI's you will ever see...it will celebrate it's 70th birthday next year...hope I look that good at 70

Yes...but it lacks that element of surprise you find in a gun store...I have yet to find something new in my safe I hadn't seen before
