FYI on Pro Am match.

There are two divisions at the Pro-Am Championship: Limited & Open.

Limited equipment rules are loosely based on USPSA/Steel Challenge Limited or Production, as well as IDPA SSP, ESP, and CDP. Basically, if you can use it at any of these sports, you can use it here.

Open division is just that. If it's legal in USPSA or IPSC, you can shoot it at the Pro-Am in Open division.

HOWEVER, BOTH DIVISIONS ARE LIMITED TO 10 ROUNDS IN THE MAGAZINES AFTER THE START SIGNAL. That means, if the gun starts with a loaded chamber, it may be loaded with 11 rounds, with 10-rounders in your pouches. An unloaded start would require ALL magazines to hold 10 rounds... just like Production/Limited 10, ESP, and SSP.
No power factor, but steel must fall.
Additionally, competitors may shoot the Open match with a Limited legal pistol, but they are NOT allowed to do the opposite.

Can i get away with 4 mag pouches or will i need more?
yes. 4 will be plenty.
The Pro Am is a different animal than USPSA or IDPA. All shooters will start will 11 rds the first mag, then follow up with 10 rounders.
Each stage will only last 17 seconds or so on par time. The idea is knock down as much steel as you can in allowed time frame. Any over time shots are discounted and a plate removed also.
